More from today's trip to London with my sister! After we'd been in the bookshop that I told you about yesterday, we moved on to Covent Garden.
Even though it was freezing cold and my arms were slowly being extended by the weight of the books I'd just bought, we bundled down the back of Leicester Square station, past the theatres where Stomp and The Mousetrap (now in its 60th year) are, and towards Covent Garden. Why? Mainly because Laduree has opened a cafe there and my sister loves their macarons!
The other reason was that this Easter there is a massive egg hunt in Covent Garden and we wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. I have to say, it didn't seem like much of a hunt (they were all displayed together?!), unless I've completely missed the point! But they were really impressive!
Outside the Covent Garden Apple Market, by the London Transport Museum, there were several rows of massive eggs which have all been painted and decorated. Crowds of people were taking their pictures with their favourites! Here are a few of mine:
